# Rooms (/docs/api-reference/rooms)



A Room is the shared container for a team's work around a Business. Use the
same Room model for a deal room, data room, diligence room, client room, or
another focused collaboration space instead of creating a separate API for each
use case.

Rooms can organize files, Goals, and Tasks while access continues to follow the
current Workspace credential.
